We offer plasma cutting of any shapes in sheet metal up to 30 mm thick. We have a work table with dimensions of 4,500 x 2,000 mm and a Kjellberg plasma source with a maximum amperage of 200 A. The plasma cutter is capable of marking and engraving the sheet metal surface, which enables easy identification of many different cut details. It is also possible to cut and drill steel sections, e.g. shelves of I-beams or walls of closed profiles up to 500 mm high.
A plasma cutter with an HD head allows you to maintain a very even and smooth surface after cutting, without the bevel that appears with regular cutters. Enables dimensional accuracy up to 0.01 mm. The cut detail does not require additional processing before welding. The cutting machine controller adjusts cutting parameters in real time, which ensures zero scale and high repeatability of details.
We make sure that the material does not overheat during cutting. Appropriate arrangement of details and processing sequence ensures even heating of the sheet metal. This is especially important for small details or many holes. Such actions prevent temperature-related deformations.
Plasma cutting is a much cheaper technology than laser cutting and at the same time allows you to maintain a very high quality of products. When cutting thick sheets, the quality is incomparably better than when cutting with a laser, while in the case of thin sheets, cutting is slower than with laser cutting technology.
Oxygen cutting is performed using a cutting machine that allows cutting black steel sheets up to 100 mm thick. We have a work table with dimensions of 2000 x 4500 mm. Oxygen cutting works well for low-carbon and low-alloy structural steels. It is possible to cut sheet metal covered with rust and arranged in bundles.
Oxygen cutting is an economical technology and works well in a very wide range of sheet thicknesses (from 2 mm to 380 mm). The disadvantages of this method include a long piercing time caused by initial heating and a low cutting speed.
